Lorenzo is a Director of Photography based in London, UK.
Wasteman, starring David Jonsson and Tom Blyth, premiered at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and 69th BFI London Film Festival in 2025 and will be distributed in the UK by Lionsgate, with a February 2026 release.
The Kidnapping of Arabella, his latest collaboration with director Carolina Cavalli starring Benedetta Porcaroli and Chris Pine, premiered at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and 69th BFI London Film Festival in 2025. Their earlier collaboration, Amanda, screened at both the 79th Venice International Film Festival and the 47th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2022, and was released to critical acclaim by Curzon (UK) and Oscilloscope (US).
Other credits include Troppo Azzurro, (Rome International Film Festival 2023) and drama portions of BAFTA-winning documentary Gun No. 6. Alongside his feature film work, he is prolific in the drama doc, music video and commercial space.
Born in Rome, he was obsessed with cameras and making his own short films by the time he was 10. After wanting to be a photojournalist for a few years, he discovered cinematography and has been working in the industry for over ten years.
A prolific cinematography lecturer in his spare time, Lorenzo has taught at UCA Farnham, Arts University Bournemouth, Met Film School, Ravensbourne, Edge Hill, University of Brighton, UWE Bristol and London Metropolitan University.
Lorenzo also co-creates the podcast Cinematographers on The Loose, and contributes to various mentorship programs as a mentor.
