Lorenzo is a Director of Photography based in London, UK.

His latest feature Amanda has had UK rights acquired by Curzon and in US/Canada by Oscilloscope after showing in Official Selection at the Venice 79th International Film Festival and the 47th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2022 and will be given a 2023 UK release by Curzon. 

With three more features currently in post or on the festival circuit and more long form projects slated for 2023/4, Lorenzo is currently working on narrative, documentary and short form projects.

Other credits include BIFA-longlisted feature film Sororitynow on Amazon Prime, drama portions of BAFTA-winning documentary Gun No. 6, as well as feature film Redcon-1 starring Carlos Gallardo (El Mariachi).

Born in Rome, he was obsessed with cameras and making his own short films by the time he was 10. After wanting to be a photojournalist for a few years, he discovered cinematography and has been working in the industry for over ten years.

A prolific cinematography lecturer in his spare time, Lorenzo has taught at UCA Farnham, Arts University Bournemouth, Met Film School, Ravensbourne, Edge Hill, University of Brighton, UWE Bristol and London Metropolitan University.

Lorenzo also co-creates the podcast Cinematographers on The Loose.
